How The Turn Agency Began
It all started when...
Founder Lhauren Singleton, a wife and mother of 2, began assisting Christian leadership at 8 years old. She grew on this path, going on to receive a Bachelor of Management with a specialization in Christian leadership from Cornerstone University. As a working professional she developed the idea for her company while conducting seminars as a life specialist. With background in ministry leadership, business management, and transformative efforts for non-profit leadership and management, Lhauren’s experience lends to The Turn Agency’s expert guidance.
“I started the company because I have a huge heart for Christian leaders. They have the most important role in the world, and are in great need of support,” she says. “Too many people in our society look at Christian organizations as businesses, and forget that even though efficiency is needed to operate, and funds are a necessity, ministry and the great commission should always be at the center.
Too often Christian leaders find themselves bogged down with the “what” and “how” of their ministries. They can find themselves and their leadership burned out due to lack of efficiency. This can lead to losing sight of their mission and countless lives going untouched.
“Lots of moving pieces in ministry can be time consuming. Having an outside professional work alongside leaders alleviates time spent fine-tuning operations and programming,” Lhauren says. “There are plenty of consultants in the market, but not many with a focus on spreading the gospel. The nonprofit sector takes a special kind of attention and care, but even more so for Christian organizations. They’re set out to spread the gospel, and when they do not have efficient systems in place, that focus on ministry first, not as many people are being reached.”
The vision of The Turn Agency is to assist in their efforts to reach more people for the Kingdom of God.
